Overview
The ultimate aim of the project is to improve current HVAC systems, by examining how to achieve high temperature cooling and low temperature heating by reducing temperature differences in heat transfer and energy transport process.
Specifically, it is considering how to avoid unnecessary offset of cooling and heating, dehumidification and humidification, mixing losses of cold and hot fluids, or unnecessary or inappropriate transfer losses due to heat exchange.
The scope includes commercial buildings, such as offices and buildings containing large enclosures. It will principally be for the benefit of building owners, building designers and equipment manufacturers.
